How to do a procedure, step by step

Online

1. Have your digital ID ready

   If you don't have one, sign up for idCAT Mòbil: all you need is your ID card (DNI), your health card and a mobile phone. It takes 5 minutes and it's free. If you'd rather we helped you, come to the Town Hall and we'll do it together.

2. Find the procedure

   On the Procedures page, type what you want to do (for example, ‘register’). If there's no specific procedure, use the general request form: it works for any request.

3. Fill in the form

   The e-office (seu electrònica) will open. Identify yourself, fill in your details and, if needed, attach documents (photos or PDFs from your phone are fine too).

4. Send it and keep the receipt

   You'll get a receipt with a registration number. Keep it: it's your proof that you've done the procedure. The reply will reach you through E-Notum or by post.

In person

1. Come to the Town Hall

   Pl. Lluís Companys, 1. Monday to Friday 9:00–14:00 and Tuesdays 16:00–19:00. You don't need an appointment for the front desk. For Social Services or Technical Services, call 93 897 10 01 first to book a time.

2. Bring your ID

   And, if the procedure requires it, the relevant document (for example, the bill, the rental contract or the property deed). If you're doing the procedure for someone else, you need a signed authorisation and a copy of their ID.

3. We'll help you

   Our front-desk staff fill in the request with you and give you the receipt with the registration number.
